Titles Analysis-Students Work (Torn)

I have decided to look at titles of other professionally made and other media student's work on titles so that I can attain an idea of what I would like my titles to look like for the final edit.
I chose to look at an A grade piece of work as this is a goal I would like to achieve with my own final piece and also because this attained a high grade I would like to make similar titles to help bring the grade of my final piece to this level.

TORN.

The titles for this opening are all in capital letters in a sans-serif font. They are all in white and bold. Throughout the opening sequence when the character is walking the titles appear, I would like to incoperate this in to my thriller opening as they are subtly there but very effective. Also the simplicity of the main title 'TORN.' is extremely effective as it is straight to the point and easy to read. As a result of these simple titles your eye isn't drawn away from what the main focus should be, the main character. This has given me some ideas for my own titles. I would like to stick to very basic titles as these seem to be the most effective for viewers.
